Books Of The Week ~ 28.1.19
This week has been a rather hectic one - with lots if conferences and distractions. However the weekend was the perfect time to sit down, get out my acrylics, put the playlist on shuffle and then read a book or two.
Rough Diamonds
By Barbara Mitchelhill
This is an okay book. It wasn't especially captivating but it wasn't a complete mess either. Charlotte infuriated me a lot, but book characters often do. If you're looking a for a filler book between one big read and another this is for you.
Alex Rider: Never Say Die
By Anthony Horowitz
Now this is the kind of book I love - action packed to the brim. Leonardo & Eduardo Grimaldi are some of my favourite villains and their five seconds apart are iconic (to me at least). Mrs. Jones is such a motherly figure and I truly believe she would never want any harm to come to Alex.
The Girl De-Construction Project
By Rachel Gardner
I have gone to several talks by Rachel Gardner now and I am a big fan of her work. This book massively helps with self live and becoming a better Christian. It was a gift from a friend and I have loved jotting down notes in the margin.
Would you ever become a spy? What's your favourite fictional villian of all time? Who is your favourite auhor?
