Books I've Read This Week
Books are a big part of my life mainly because they give me another reality to escape to when I'm under pressure or overwhelmed. Every week I'll be sharing with you the books that I've read and my opinion (which is usually positive!). Also if you've got any recommendations comment down below, because I'm running out of books to read!
Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief
By Rick Rordan
My friends have been badgering me for ages about Percy Jackson and this week I finally read the first book! It was a real page turner for me because it's so easy to read. Currently I'm at the start of the second book and I will tell you my thoughts next week. (You can watch the movie trailer too)
One Of Us Is Lying
By Karen M.McManus
Honestly I read this book a while back and I enjoyed it so much - because it kept me guessing right until the very end - that I decided to read it again. Definitely wasn't disappointed the second time around. Another thing about this book is just how much the characters develop, specifically Addy.
Angel
By L.A.Weatherly
This book focuses mainly on the romance between the two protagonists which is fine if you're reading it for romance but personally I would have loved for the angels background to be more developed. It's a good book, but the author has left me feeling slightly underwhelmed after the amount of praise I have heard about it.
What books have you read this week? What's your opinion on the Percy Jackson series? Have any of the books you've read not lived up to the hype?
