What's On My Bedside Table?
One of the habits I get from my dad is the need for everything to have a place, which is why the things on my nightstand rarely change. At the moment, I am living in rented so my nightstand is simply two boxes stacked upon each other but for now it is actually incredibly useful and you will see why later...
MY PLANNER
Unlike some of the fancy ones you see online, my planner is just a five sectioned notebook. I use it for poetry, organisation, lifestyle and my blog. I probably use the organization section the most as it's where I put my daily to do's.

CHOCOLATE
I am extremely guilty of chocolatey indulgences but I promise you I can't help myself. I often find myself having a complimentary chocolate before bed.

CARDS
I currently have a birthday and christmas card on my nightstand. They don't really hold a purpose except to remind me of friends and spice it up a little.

TRINKET
Another trinket I have on my nightstand is a golden retriever ornament. It was a gift from a family member because of Poppy - an absolute darling of a dog. Many memories are attached to the ornament and I should hate to lose it.

BOOKSHELF
I am an avid reader - devouring book after book - so of course one book on my nightstand would simply not be enough. Now because my nightstand is two boxes the top one is pushed further back against the wall, creating my own little shelf. By my bedside I only have the books I am currently reading, just finished, and my favourites (such as The Extinction Trials by S.M.Wilson).
